Research firm CIRP (Consumer Intelligence Research Partners) have published new statistics on the sales of Apple’s smartphone in November 2018. It turned out that users often chose iPhone XR – share of sales of the smartphone falls 32% of all purchases of the iPhone. As for the flagship models of the iPhone XS iPhone XS Max, consumers considered them to purchase 35% of cases.
All, CIRP surveyed about 165 people in the United States. Of course, it is difficult to talk about any of the representativeness of the sample, however, some idea of the popularity of the products these statistics can give. As it turned out, iPhone XR managed to attract a large number of supporters of Android. Subfragment Apple moved about 16% of the former owners of smartphones running Google’s. However, iPhone XR cannot be called a hit. It is obvious that Apple hoped for a much more productive sales, but failed to predict market trends. If the company has made concessions and has set the initial price of a smartphone at a more acceptable level, it is likely that it could go in a completely different scenario.
