Today, 7 November, Apple launched retail sales of the new MacBook Air and Mac Mini, the release of which took place at the presentation on October 30. Contrary to expectations, Russia is not among the first-wave countries, where the model is already available for purchase. According to the content of the Russian Internet-store of the company, the device has not yet arrived at the warehouse and can’t be ordered. So the only thing left to do to fans of Apple products – just wait. The same applies to the iPad Pro 2018.
According to official representatives of Apple, which AppleInsider.ru asked for comment about the reasons for the delay, sales of the new MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and iPad Pro in Russia will begin in the near future. New items will appear simultaneously in the branded online store of the company and the partners. However, the exact timing has not been named, but because the answer can be interpreted as anything. In any case, you can count on the fact that the Russian release will take place before the end of this year.
Countries of the second wave
The study showed the situation, Russia is not the only country that avoided the release of MacBook Air, Mac Mini and iPad Pro 2018 model year. In a number of States referred Apple to the regions of the second wave, also includes Guatemala, Greece, Greenland, Israel, India, Qatar, Colombia, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Malaysia, Morocco, Mexico, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkey and South Africa. In these countries, the sales promise to begin later than in the rest of the world.
